If yours is coated canvas PVC, just use baby wipe on the bag is fine. However becareful I have heard that if you are wearing a pair of dark colour jean, it may transfer the colour to the bag if you constantly rub against it.
So becareful. |

Hi there,
I am sorry to hear about it but this is a very common problem as I have already highlighted in my earlier post. The reason being the leather is porous so making stain dye common. If you search around the internet, other bag forums will recommend cleaning agent like baby wipe, Coach Cleaning agent, or any cleaning solvent that contain alchohol etc. There are no guaranteed that it will work. The result varies, some claimed it works while some say it got worse. How old is your bag? If it is still very very new, call the boutique and make a big fuss on why the SA did not warn you of this dye transfer problem when you bought it. If you dare not try the home remedies which may or may not work, my suggestion is to bring to a professional bag cleaning service. |

Hi there are many out there and a few popular ones. I am sorry but I am not in the position to mention any
![]() Just call Burberry, they will recommend you and maybe others will give you their feedback as well. I know DFS provide cleaning services during warranty period, outsource to a shop at .... Cant remember need to pay or not. If you buy from DFS call them and check it out. |

Hi, just to share that I have ever got the same problem before, jeans color transfer to my Burberry Nova Checks.
What I did was baby wipes, a little baby clothes detergent, it's supposed to be milder than our common detergent...mix it with some water then brush off with a toothbrush. After that I used leather polisher. It could not get rid of the stain completely, because it was left unnoticed for a some time, but it did lighten it alot. But of course, I would definitely suggest a professional cleaner if u wana play safe. |

Hi all, just to share..
I just bought a gucci bag which has about the same material as Burberry. Wax coated and canvas. Initially, I bought such material because I thought this type is easier to maintain compare to those fabric type.. Who knows, the color of my long black top got transferred onto the whole bottom part of the bag.. Initially, I thought such stain can be removed since my bag's material is not fabric? I then went to a professional cleaning shop and was shocked when I was told that such stain cannot be removed. She helped to clean a small part and showed me the result..Indeed, the stain is still there.. I even to Gucci Boutique and they too told me that there's nothing they can do. They did help to send my bag to another cleaning shop but the result is still the same. I tried make up remover, nail polish remover, detergent and even Tina.. Also cant remove thoroughly.. Only managed to lighten it.. ![]() So, conclusion is.. do be careful with any other bags, regardless its in any material or color.. Expensive bag need lots of cares man..
