Default Seller claiming 'Rusts & Scratches' on Coach Goldware after taking over the bag

Hi,

I have a buyer claiming that the Coach hardware is 'rusty with scratches' after the meet-up COD. I had shown the bag to the buyer's colleague (collecting on behalf) and everything was ok.

However, I'm curious to know if its possible to have those above mentioned issues with Coach's goldware. The bag was bought by a friend in US and I didn't notice those issues before. I had checked and taken lots of pictures of the bag but did not notice any 'rust or scratches' as mentioned by buyer. Though I had an urge to disregard the buyer since they have checked the bag during the COD and only came back to me later to inform me of such issues. But to be fair, please advise.

These are the pictures taken of the bag (packed right after photo-shoot). I did not see any of the 'rust/scratches' the buyer mentioned.

All my previous buyers have received the items from me in good condition. This is the first time I have encountered such issues. Potential buyers who had looked at my blog before will know that I had been very honest with the items I sold. Items with slight issues will be highlighted so that my buyers know what are they paying for. Despite such situation, I hope my buyer will be satisfied with the outcome of this discussion.

Appreciate advices, thanks.

Hi Khim,

Thanks for your posting. But I very confirmed that it's already scratch before you passed to my colleague.
I not sure that do you notice it or not before you passed to him
And one more thing is my colleague jus collect on behalf of me,
he even didn't know that is a branded Coach bag.
I just ask him to help me collect from you and pass me next day.>>
He was told me you just showed him the receipt and card etc, u never mention that the gold ware is already like “dull gold” as u said.
When he passed me this morning I only realize it got allot scratches on e gold ware as picture showed and I was sms you immediately.>>
Refer to your email, you told me that you did not see those things I highlighted here before?

But at the first I sms and emailed you those pic by this morning >>
you replied me said that is though it's gold ware as advised by Coach it appears like “dull gold” color but now u said u did not see those things before??

There is no point argue with you again, thanks for all your replied, I will look for other responsibility seller for next time.>>

Hi Eleen,

I'm sorry that I wasn't able to offer you a refund because of the 'post-transaction' 'damages' as you had claimed in those pictures (blurred pictures). The bag was bought directly from US boutique and came as it is in my pictures. As a responsible seller, I highlight every visible 'problems' to my buyers so that they know what they are buying as per what I had done for Coach Amanda Satin Comestic Bag 42034 (Magenta) and preloved items like Bonia Leather Bag and Daniel Yam Evening Clutch. I have been receiving positive feedbacks till date. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to make your day.
