Hihi.. does anyone know how to remove scratches on the gold hardware of the plate on my LV Hampstead PM?? If i bring it to those cleaning shops like LE shine or Colorwash.. Will they be able to help me do it?? TIA!!

you can try at your risk dear. cause chemicals WILL corrode the goldplate of the inventure. Perhaps you can seek the advice from the people in Louis Vuitton boutiques. Im sure they will be more than happy to serve you.

Bring ur bag down to LV boutique, u can have the Inventeur plate replace but have to pay la... not sure how much they quote

Thanks for all the replies.. Guess I will have to replace the whole LV plate? But I wonder how much that costs... Hopefully its not too expensive?? Wanted to use some chemicals or cloth to polish yet I'm worried this might damage it..

You can try brasso at your own risk otherwise it is best to replace it.

i went to LV boutique at taka to ask abt the same problem (only that i did not have my bag with me). they advice changing the plate, only that it will cost $200. heart pain when i heard the cost. but you can try bringing your bag to the boutique and let them check. maybe they will quote better price? i think it will take 3-4 weeks to repair the bag...cheers!

really??! That is cheaper than how much they quote me. I think i must bring my bag over. There's no difference btwn PM & MM, no? When did u change urs? I ask on 6th oct...
