Hi LAdy Misa, thanks for the reply. I did ask the seller for more photos, specifically the date stamp but she said she was "tired" of taking so many photos already.

ANyway, I was doing some research and came across this on ebay:

I got a bit alarmed when I read the section about tags which said the tags are NEVER attached to an authentic LV bag. And although the photos I posted are not very sharp, it's clear that the tag is attached to the Amfar. Help!

As for the Odeon, same thing, she's not willing to take anymore photos for me but says she has the receipt from ION Orchard.

I saw the tag, but I think the seller attached it herself. LV bag comes with tag so I guess she might have hang it inside in case she lost it. Or maybe purchase from a second hand shop. Her tag is not hook using those string like thing as shown in the ebay guide. It's those plastic hook that we can buy outside.

Regardless, from those photos, the alignment, stitching, and heatstamp, I can tell you that this bag is indeed authentic.

If you are still worried, deal at a second hand shop that's reputable, e.g. interesthing shop.

Maybe the seller Attach the tag to the bag.
But I'm a LV owner.

No matter How dirty/old is the LV bag.
I won't Sell it so cheap ...
As LV will ever have SALES/DISCOUNT.

But I think its better to play safe at second hand shop, ask them to Quote a price for you.
To make sure the bag is authentic.

Its just my own comment. =)

Nope. It was available in Singapore.

Thanks for all the input.

My thinking is, a 2nd hand shop ought to know how to spot fakes, so a reputable one would not hang a tag like that and make an authentic look fake (or at least cast some doubts on its authenticity).

And if the seller has to attach the tag to the bag so she doesn't lose it, well... that's a bit sad la. When I use my bag, all the tags/receipts/ cards whatever just goes in the dustbag so it doesn't get lost. Then when I put the bag away and use another one, I put it back in the same dustbag with all the tags/receipts etc. Not hard to be organised!

Anyway, since I am not comfortable I am going to pass on this. Plus the seller emailed me to say it's been sold. So, everybody's happy!
