Thumbs up WTS: Brand new Furla Piper Lux Tote, Unique design, Saffiano leather, Onyx black

Selling a unique design Furla Piper Lux Tote, which I bought, on impulse, in late 2013 at Furla Paragon, Singapore. I have never used this item before and have kept the bag with its original acid-free paper stuffings and dustbag so it is in brand new and pristine condition. There are no leather stress marks nor scuffings. Gold hardware are all in pristine condition; the protective film on the lock is still in tact.

In the last two years, Furla has introduced many variations of the Piper Lux Tote (various leathers, colours and design) but, I was drawn to this particular design due to its more executive look combined with its practicality for the working woman who wants a quiet statement piece (see below for its features). I have not seen this design in the subsequent Piper Lux collection of Furla..but I do think this is one of the nicest design in the collection thus far. This is a structure bag and I got too comfortable with non-structured bags like this Furla piece never got its airtime. Plus, I'm planning on moving overseas to work and needed to down-size my collection to pieces that could travel well. I decided it was probably better to let go to someone who can appreciate this bag more.

Some detailed information of the bag:

    Brand: Furla
    Line: Piper Lux
    Dimensions: 30 cm x 36 cm x 13 cm - 14.2" x 11.8" x 5.2" (H x L x D)
    Ref. no.: BAU1 - 756477
    Material: Saffiano calf leather (water/scratch-resistant)
    Colour: Onyx-black

    - 4 ways of styling the bag: (1) hang it on the shoulder for hands-free, executive look (2) cross-body for a more laid back look, (3) carrying by the handles for an executive, statement look, and (4) hanging on the arms by the handles (I do love the versatility of the bag. I have included some modelling shots)

    - 1 front compartment, accessible by a Furla logo turn-lock (good for stuffing in thin items for quick access; Furla logo turn-lock also looks very elegant without being flashy)

    - 1 zip-closure main compartment. Very roomy, can fit in up to 17" laptop with room to spare for organizer, pencil case, water bottle, umbrella, make-up pouch, etc. Also has pockets big enough for namecards/pens/lipstick, has a zipped compartment for valuable items too.

    - 1 bag compartment that could be secured by a lock (with "F" imprinted) (good for confidential documents or items that requires more security)

    - 1 removable leather strap (drop: 11 cm - 4.3"). The strap is wide width, which I imagine, would provide great comfort when carrying heavier items

    - Gold hardware with the word "Furla" imprinted

    - Gold studs at the base of the bag helps provide structure and minimize scuffings

    - Comes with dustbag, original receipt and care instruction

Overall, I think this is a very functional and practical bag that exudes subdue elegance, which I think, is perfect for the working woman.

Please feel free to authenticate the bag at Deluxemall or Purseblog forum.
