Thread: How Malaysia Online Scams work ... read to prevent being cheated

I just received a PM from someone using the same email, whose account name was montuewed.

Thanks to all for sharing your experiences so I know that it is a scam.

I got a reply from montuewed as well. She asked me to send it to Malaysia and gave a zero convincing bank note to showing that i should ship my bag first for the transaction to be done.

I had this very same scammer trying to buy my camera from Singapore...saying he's overseas and wanted my lens delivered to that same address to Laura Peterson. Husband name is supposedly Anthony Peterson.
Asked me to quote Singpost charges...Bank to bank or Paypal...then bargain for discount. After that...gave the excuse he will inform his wife first after i told him I'll send ONLY after payment is verified n able to encash...if not, no go.
Don't waste time with this idiot.
