The watch manufacture Panerai has released another novelty - a new wristwatch PAM 422, better known as the Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days. The new timepiece will be first presented at SIHH in Geneva in 2012.

A rare Panerai model from the distant 40s of the last century has inspired the company to create a new model of PAM 422. That it was an intermediate in the transformation of cases from the line of Radiomir into the cases of the collection Luminor.

The novelty has a massive case of 47 mm diameter in polished stainless steel. The strong protection of the dial is served by a Plexiglas ® crystall with a 3 mm thick, giving the watch a vintage look. Transparent case back is presented by a durable sapphire crystal. Data are easy to read off the black dial - "sandwich" thanks to luminescent Arabic numerals and hour markers. The crown protector is made of brushed stainless steel in the typical brand style. The watch water-resistant is up to 100 meters.

The trouble-free course of Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days provides a mechanism manufactory P.3001 with manual winding, paved in 21 stones. The caliber, consisting of 207 components, supplies a balance frequency of 21,600 vph. In establishing of the mechanism are also used such innovative technologies as Glucydur ® balance and Incabloc ® anti-shock system. Two barrels in caliber contribute to a three-day power reserve.

Time display is carried out by the central hour and minute hands. The indicator of a small second hand is set at 9 o'clock position. But to track the data off the power reserve indicator is possible through the transparent case back cover, as he placed on its inside.

Along with the brand Panerai leather strap with a large-size buckle the watch is attached by the second interchangeable strap. The model is supplemented with a steel screwdriver to change the strap.
